Post Rome hotel issues

We are traveling with a group of 8 booked since may 2018 and for some reason we find that 6 of us are booked in one hotel and 2 in another...what's up?

We have contacted Viking and so far no resolution for our upcoming trip taking place this October.

I'd get that sorted asap if I was you.  Another thing - it's not a big cost, but when using a VO booked hotel in Italy, do the passengers have to pay the hotel tax, or is that covered in the hotel/add-on extension hotel charge paid to VO?

We were in Rome last winter in a hotel booked through a Viking extension and there were no additional costs.

The cost of any Viking extension we've ever taken (or are scheduled to take) was complete. I suggest reading the extension description pop-up boxes on the Viking website (not My Viking Journey) - especially the end where it will list everything that's included (tours, meals, etc.) as well as seasonal pricing.

Rather than phoning regular customer service, suggest contacting the great people at tellus@vikingcruises.com remember to provide the booking number and names for all 8 in your group.
