Gold - 50% off laundry question

my mom is somehow Gold after just 2 cruises.  Crazy.

 

we are doing a 2 weeker next year and i anticipate that they will do one of the "fill the bag" specials.   Would a gold member get 50% off of that price?    I never did laundry when i was Gold.

Someone else gave me advice to get a extra pillowcase from your room steward and put it inside the laundry bag.  Usually they ripped on us.  And when your Mom makes Platinum in a more few minutes, the bag will be free.

As a platinum member, not okay is the bag free, but you can send it in any day and it is usually next day service.

Any idea if Platinum Plus would get a 50% discount on an extra bag of laundry, since that's what Gold gets?

No.  Platinums get one free bag and any other bags get charged full price.

On NCL cruises of 15 days or longer, Platinum Members and above get 2 free bags of laundry.
