Yacht Club Questions

I have a few questions for those who have sailed on the Seaside Yacht Club:

• Are drinks free throughout the ship, or just inside the yacht club area?
• is there any shade or umbrellas available around the yacht club pool?  I never see any in the videos we watched.
• Do the rooms have hair-dryers and make-up mirrors?
• Is MSc’s private island going to be ready by February?

You will have the equivalent of the Premium drinks package for use outside of the YC area, which covers items up to $12 on the menus.  Items without a price next to them on the YC menus are included.

 

Lack of shade on the One Pool deck has been discussed at length on the boards.

 

Yes ... the cabins have hair dryers and there's a make-up mirror in the bathrooms in YC.

 

No-one can answer that definitively.  It's scheduled to be open in November, but the YC area is reportedly not going to be ready 'til March 2020, with another area being temporarily set aside for YC guests until then.  Watch out for reports from November until your cruise for updates, with more definite information.

The shaded areas are just port and starboard of the buffet area with tables and chairs.  Only the for fee, except Royal Suites, cabanas have some cover.  Starboard side is smoking.

In addition to the area near the buffet/bar, there are shaded areas around the corner...
