Can anyone suggest a hotel at Miami airport which allows customers the use of a day room.  We will disembark Riviera at approx 8/8.30 am and  our flight is overnight to Heathrow in November

Thanks

No personal knowledge, but there is a site I've seen recommended more than once on the Florida Departures forum here where you can book day passes at local resorts - that might be more fun than the airport?

Stayed at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in March 2019 - free shuttle bus to the airport, leaving every 30mins and only a 10 min ride. Booked via Dayuse.com - excellent service and value, highly recommended.

Thank you for your replies.  We have booked as suggested via Dayuse.com  We are actually staying pre cruise in the hotel in the terminal building, outside security but they do not offer day rooms.  Thank you all once again

Dozens of hotels near MIA.  And, of course, by looking at the Miami airport website, you would have found out that there is a hotel in the terminal building itself, outside security.

If you mean the one at Concourse E, I found that one a little shabby and a little scary (marshals standing outside rooms of soon-to-be-deportees...)

We have used the Pullman at the airport twice.  Booked through Hotels By Day.  They offer free airport shuttle and you can walk to a small  shopping plaza nearby (Publix, Starbucks, etc).  Found it ideal for what we needed.

So the marshals should just leave the deportees alone on their own??

How quaintly Canadian.

Personally, the presence of armed law enforcement makes a place less scary for me.
