Can I Apply Carnival Casino Offer To Cruise I've Already Booked Through T/A?

I recently booked a cruise for next summer on the Horizon with one of the travel sites.  I have also received a casino promo code that has Drinks On Us and a few other perks.  Can I contact the T/A and have the promo code applied to my res?  FYI, I booked AFTER receiving the offer, but I'm just curious if I can apply it through the T/A.  Thank you in advance.

Possibly? My suggestion would be to call the contact number on the offer and give then scenario and see what they can do. I did it once before for a better offer and it worked. I've also tried and they weren't able to do it and I had to cancel the old and re-book.

As vache suggested - I have done this before with success.  In my case because the offer was for the same cabin type that the Casino Offer was for.

Thank you.  I booked online, but I did give the T/A company a call prior and spoke to a representative regarding using the code and she that I can't do that.  With saying that, I think I'll give them another call to confirm.  I will report back here with what I find out.

You would need to cancel and re-book - I do this for my clients all the time. Your rates should be lower vs what you currently have, but the rates change often. The travel agency you used should be able to handle this for you.

If the TA had been up to snuff, they would have seen if you had any special offers BEFORE booking the cruise.  We are not big gamblers and were surprised to find out from our TA that we had a casino offer attached to our past guest number.  She took the casino rate code and compared it to all the other rates and the casino offer was definitely the way to go with both a reduced deposit and much cheaper price.  We had no idea that we even had a casino offer.

You cannot use a casino rate in a group booking, and many TA bookings are groups.  I don't use the big-box/online TAs.  I use an individual and that's how it is with her, so YMMV.

I always do a mock booking before I ever get in touch with my TA, so I always know what offers I have out there.  If the casino rate is better, that's how I book.  If she has a group and the fare is a little higher but there are perks, I go with that.

But I always know what offers I have available.  I even know what cabin I want when I get in touch with her.  I do my own research first but book through her because she's very responsive and will make any changes/answer any questions almost immediately.  And she's just a nice person and I want her to get the commission. 😀

I receive casino offers all the time and the fine print normally says "new bookings only". I check My Offers after I log into the Carnival site all the time and receive Carnival emails almost daily with the current casino offers. Book them all the time, too. 🙂 I'm happy for those of you who have had success with applying new casino rates to cruises you have already booked. However, this is just another instance of Carnival not honoring their fine print in the offers that say "new bookings only." I would have never thought to try that - guess I take things too literally and think they mean it when they say it.

Well, I reached out to the T/A company yesterday and they couldn't see the offer on their side, so she contacted Carnival's Casino Dept.  Apparently I could have used it, but my cruise date was not within the date range that the offer was good for.  That sail-by date range was not mentioned on my email from Carnival, otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered with it.  Thank you everybody for your replies.
