CHolliwood Posted August 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Just got off Anthem, where we were issued a 20% FCC coupon due to a few issues with our cruise. As part of this cruise, we had successfully bid for the Owners Suite through the RoyalUP program. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but the FCC didn't include the RoyalUP amount. Has anyone else been in this position? And if so, did you go back to RCI to include this amount? I can't find any fine print that says this would not be included. Thanks, Chris
Clarea Posted August 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2019 I'd contact RC customer service (or your travel agent if you used one) and tell them that the FCC amount was not computed correctly.
molly361 Posted August 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2019 I wonder what happens if you make an insurance claim would your RoyalUp payment be included? I assume that the cost of your insurance does ot increase if your bid is accepted or does it??

In other words, if you pay more for the stateroom after the insurance has been paid, I would think it's up to you to contact the insurance people and add to the premium. That's how it would work for third party insurance, I'm not sure how it would work for travel protection bought through Royal Caribbean
