Hi all,

Very excited to have booked my first NCL cruise in 30 years! We will be sailing on Epic in January. I booked a balcony guarantee. Does any one know when we will find out our room assignment?

Could really be anytime.  I've booked in advance and been assigned a cabin within a day or 2!  But can technically be at the very end a couple of days before sailing.  I booked 2 guarantees last week and both assignments were there the next day but it's a much closer in sailing than yours.

DH and I will be on Epic transatlantic next Spring but chose our cabin.

NCL has surely changed in 30 years!  So has cruising in general.

Good luck with your cabin assignment!  There are some uncovered balconies (as well as more covered) on Epic.  That ship has no ocean views so loads of balcony cabins!!  In the meantime, make sure you keep checking prices in case there's any reduction before final payment.  About 80 days out or so, you might also be "invited" to bid for a higher category cabin.  If you have your guaranty assignment and don't like it, that might be an option.
