Haven’t been on that side yet but my guess is it can be hit or miss...we’ve had both the smoothest and roughest seas sailing out of Barcelona...you just never know...

Anything is possible in the Bay of Biscay, but prepare for a little rough weather.We sailed on a Brittany ferry from Southampton to Spain and it was  an interesting 24hours and a night when we were rocked to sleep. This was more challenging as our ferry cabin was bunk beds and climbing in and out of the top bunk !!!!!
