Boarding Time for a 9pm Departure

While I have cruised quite a bit with NCL, I have never had a cruise depart at 9pm.  I have two upcoming cruises with this departure time.  My question is, will boarding be like past cruises where boarding starts around 11:00-12:00 or is it likely to be delayed until later in the afternoon?  I want to plan for something to do during the day if we cannot board around lunchtime.

Thank you in advance for any advice/experiences you have with this.

I'm assuming that this is a scheduled 9pm departure, rather than one which has been changed at the last minute.

In that case then boarding time is, in my experience, at the same time as with earlier departures.

Whilst I haven't done a 9pm departure, I have done many at around 7pm, and other things remain the same.

Boarding will start around 11- 12 as usual. You just have you sail away later than most. Btw, which ship/port?

March 8, 2020 on the Epic out of San Juan, Puerto Rico and April 23, 2020 on the Getaway out of New York.  Thank you for the information.
