Dockside Tour operators

Been to the Caribbean dozens of times and generally there is no problem finding tours on your arrival at the islands.   Is it the same for Pago Pago, Apia Samoa, Bora Bora,Tahiti and Moorea.

There are tour providers at the dock on Bora Bora, at Papeete and on Moorea. But why wouldn't you want to book the best early, because the very best excursions get booked up quickly. You may want to ask for recommendations for what kinds of things interest you here, or try Tripadvisor.

 

Also depends on what size ship you are coming in on. If it's a behemoth like HA, Princess, NCL, RCL or Celebrity you might be hard pressed to book independently at the dock. Smaller ships like Wind Spirit or Paul Gaugain shouldn't be a problem.

Agree with Petoonya  .... the best excursion operators are booked up early.

Following your advice I have booked a bunch of tours. Our cruise like most in this region involves a lot of sea days so it’s important to do some tours when we get the chance. Thanks.

That's great Donh1. The choice of excursions and operators makes such a difference in your cruise. It's one place in the world where you don't want to wing it.
