We will be cruising in the Haven for the first time next week. Regarding the tips for butler and concierge, is there a way to add their tips to our bill, say via a voucher, or do we need cash

Thanks in advance for any info

You can do a voucher.  Just take the name of the Butler and Concierge to Guest Services and let them know the amount you want to tip each person.  They will give you a copy of the vouchers.

Dear Pea,  It all depends on the service you receive. It also depends on if you love the cabin so much that you will be re-booking it in the near future. If so, cash is king. Voucher, you never really know if they will get all of it, or are forced by management to share with them. If you are re-booking find out if they are renewing their contract. Chances are they will be on board and might be waiting on you again. We had a lovely concierge a year ago, she could not do enough for us, short of 'tucking us into bed' each night. Tipped her $150 for the week. Following year same suite, new concierge. But our 'old' concierge was on board and she astonishingly remembered (our $150) us. She  must have passed the' word' to our new concierge, and we had super service. Extra lounge chair on our balcony and boosted wifi signal to our cabin, besides all the other goodies he kept bringing. This service prompted a 'face saving' tip of $200 and a $20 tip to our old concierge for just 'remembering' us on the last day. Oh, yes, we booked the same cabin again for next year and asked them both their intentions for 2020.

Must tell you also about another concierge we had in the Haven. Did not do much for us, asked him for reservations for specialty restaurants 3 days into the cruise, only after 9:30 pm. We eat 6:30 pm so we were 'stuck' with the monotonous Haven restaurant menu.  Too many "no's" and not enough yes's. $20 for the week.

Not just each, but each each day.

That's what I ALWAYS do.

Not in the Haven, old chap, not in the Haven.  Now if you are in a $60,000 suite for the week. Okay, but only if you get better service.  I know of a certain someone that bought a beautiful condo on the east side of NY. He had  2 weeks to 'fix it up' without a condo fine. He went over 2 weeks and the condo president went to him to inform him of the fine. "How much" he asked. $500 / day. He said "fine I'll pay it". Moral of the story: there are people who can afford to tip and tip generously.
