Move up offer question ?

Hello all,

 

Sorry  if this was already asked but when we get such an email like I did is the price per person per day or for duration of the cruise ?

 

Also 2 of our 3 cabins received this offer if we upgrade will they try to put us near each other or it’s like guaranty cabins ?

As of now we got 2 balcony joining cabins and 1 inside.

 

We will not bid on Aqua as this would mean that our family that has inside cabin would not be able to eat with us 🙂

It is per person for the entire cruise. There is no guarantee that everyone who bids will have the offer accepted and the assignment will be similar to a guarantee booking.

If somebody books using a cruise agency, would they be given offers?  I assume they won't.

Im no expert on the program, some cruise agencies have opted out of the program like Costco. Others are definitely in it as can be seen in the tracker sticked at the top of the page.

We have received the e mail offers even when we booked with a big box TA in the past.  You might check your

reservation after signing in on Celebrity.  Look under "Manage Your Reservation" and there may be an opportunity

to "Move UP".  We did not receive an E mail offer on our latest cruise that was booked directly with Celebrity

but about 6-7 weeks before the cruise the opportunity to move up was under Manage your Reservation.

I think it really depends on the cruise and how it is selling.
