Motorman23 Posted September 21, 2019 #79 Share Posted September 21, 2019 (edited) Great review so far. My wife and I are on next years cruise which had no sail by of the islands but we got a 6th fl obstructed balcony for $2363 total. Hopefully we can also catch a few price drops. If you get a chance can you see how bad the obstruction is on the 6th fl balconies? Obviously only if you meet someone in one, lol. We are Bill and Marie from the Seattle area and you are more than welcome to join us on Ovation for our unusual cruise to Hawaii. I say unusual as after we depart Vancouver we stop in Seattle for a day before heading across the Pacific. So Saturday we get to play tourist in our hometown. In addition when we get to Kauai we just sail by and don't actually stop. That is a first for us. Also if you care to stick around, once we arrive in Honolulu we plan to fly to Molokai for 3 days than back to Oahu for three days in Waikiki. Should be fun

Tomorrow night we will be staying at the Pan Pacific Vancouver after catching a terrific rate on Hotwire just last week. We get to drop the rental car right there at the hotel and as you can tell from the picture getting to the ship will be a breeze too. 😋 I just looked at Hotwire today for my trip in October. Was it a secret deal. If it was Do you mind sharing the amenities/area you selected. Have a great trip. Thanks!

It was narrowed down to a 4 1/2 star in the Downtown Coal Harbour area, The secret deal showed the hotel as 4.7 out of 5 and clicking on location is showed 0.0 miles from Canada Place. Had to be Pan Pacific

Jzx1103 Posted September 22, 2019 #98 Share Posted September 22, 2019 (edited) Hi PC Walton (or anyone else currently on the Ovation), could you do me a huge favor? I know this is a long shot but any help would be greatly appreciated. We were on last sailing that ended on 9/20 on the Ovation. Our stateroom number is 13136, we believe we left two Wells Fargo Envelopes full of cash totaling well over $4000 on the desk counter in our stateroom. We must've forgotten to pack it after leaving our stateroom attendant her tips before leaving our room. Our stateroom attendant's name is Grace. Could you kindly look her up on deck 13 and ask about it, or check with guest services. I mostly consider the money lost but figured I'll give it a try. Much appreciated!
