After Cruise Excursion in Ft. Lauderdale?

We will be on a cruise that arrives back in Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 10th.  Unfortunately, our flight home is not until 10 pm that night.  Any suggestions on something fun to do that day while we wait for our flight?  I know the cruise has some options but I was looking for something a little more interesting possibly (anything but shopping! lol)

If you look down the board you will see many recommendations for the water taxi. You can make as long and extensive as you wish, as it is a hop on, hop off situation.

 

You will need to store your bags. There are a couple of options discussed here frequently.

We had a late afternoon flight after the cruise, so we ubered to the airport and rented a car for the day.  Went to Everglades Holiday Park for an airboat tour and gator show.

And a rental car gives you somewhere to store your luggage!

 

OP - Since you don’t need to check in until after an early dinner you have time to take the water taxi (www.watertaxi.com) and eat on the waterfront.  A number of restaurants on the water taxi’s routes offer discounts and are noted on the website.
