mimi217 Posted October 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2019 Just a quick question. Are bathrobes available in the cabins. We've been on the Gem before but can't remember if they have them.It would be one less thing to pack 🙂 thanks in advance

I believe they are for balcony and above cabins.

Rare All-ready2cruise Posted October 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2019 Right, I was in a balcony on the Joy, just debarked Friday. No Bathrobe in my cabin but I just requested it and it was there at turndown. Others have indicated that they just asked even in an OV.

Frequently the stewards take them to be washed from the last occupants and forget to put new ones in the balcony cabins. I just request one from the steward when they come to introduce themselves or leave a note and a bathrobe shows up later. Have always requested them in OV and even inside cabins and received them. DH could care less!
mugtech Posted October 13, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2019 Wow, very lucky here. On RCCL you need 30 loyalty points to ask for a bathrobe inside, window and balcony.
realnurse2 Posted October 14, 2019 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2019 30 loyalty points?? How about trying $10 tip instead? 😁
hladygirl Posted October 14, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Only use bathrobes on balcony cabins to go out on balcony after a shower. Find no use for them in inside rooms.
