Ovation boarding delay - how much delay?

Boarding Ovation of the Seas on Tuesday and just received an email saying "Australian Maritime Safety Authority will be doing a routine inspection" and to arrive later. Just wondering if anyone knows what this normally means in terms of a boarding delay?

I would just turn up at 11:00-12:00 and drop your bags.

 I f it’s not happening go for a walk.The very very latest would be 2:00.

I was just reading a thread on the Royal Caribbean forum about such inspections.

 Apparently there’s usually no delay but just be warned there could be.

A hour delay possibly.

We had ours on Golden Princess on Friday.. Delay was negligible - though we passed without issue. Hope no issues on Ovation - as that may cause some delays.
