WHAT TO WEAR MEXICAN RIVIERA CRUISE LEAVING SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2ND

HELLO TO ALL! Please if anyone can tell me how cold it is leaving the Los Angeles Port (Royal Princess) and going to Cabo Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta please let me know

i realize Mexico is humid but wondering when we sail at night and I’m on top outside how cold it is??

We just returned from the Mexican Riviera on Saturday.  Temps were upper 80's/90's and high humidity while in port.  It was still humid at night, but pleasant enough to be outside without sleeves or a sweater.

 

Our cruise ended In San Diego.  The humidity took a noticeable dip that last day, and it was definitely cooler in the evening.  Had we walked outside, I'd have wanted a sweater.

When crusing from port to port is it still pretty warm?? Like Cabo to puerta to mazatlan?? I was only bringing shorts sun dresses and very light pants if needed

i do also have a light sweater but want to pack light

In my opinion it was perfectly fine for a wardrobe like that while in the Mexico port areas.  Evening temps were in the 75-80 degree range.

 

It may be cooler while underway the first night and the last night as you head from/back to LA. but if you are inside you should be perfectly fine.

You may also find some of the venues inside can be a bit cool, so carrying a wrap/coverup is a good idea.  I carry an oxford cloth shirt in a neutral color that has made many a trip and cruise.  EM

Yes! Essiesmom is on point. Bring something light because those lounges and such can be a bit nippy.

So true.  I recall some of the MDRs being very cold!
