skeeter195 Posted October 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2019 In the past I have always been able to book a 2nd room if another couple was traveling with us. At first it was a 20% discount which dropped to 10%. I just tried to book a 2nd room and was told that that was no longer available. Has anyone else been unable to book the 2nd room lately? It is getting harder and harder with CAS lately for the simplest things it seems. Maybe it has to do with my comp. I am only getting comped balconies and mini suites now instead of the haven like before. Before I call back and speak with someone else I would like hear from others. Thanks as always
negn Posted October 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2019 Recently got the 10% discount for friends on 2 separate cruises. Just gave them my reservation number and they booked themselves. Did have the PCC actually call me to verify it was ok to go ahead and give them the discount

The husband and wife both get casino comps, so they book two cabins and then change the guests in the cabins, so their friends are getting the casino rate technically...... NOT EVEN CLOSE this example is pure unethical use of a non-transferrable comp that gives the 2 friends a FREE cruise that they didn't earn.... no rate involved. Comp certificates are for the player plus a guest. Poster stated that he and his wife book separate comp rooms and then switch guests once on board so..... Husband books room with Guest A, Wife books room with Guest B..... once on board they have an orchestrated story to con Guest Services to swap rooms so Husband / Wife and Guests A / B are in rooms together (or they just get extra keys for room access like parents do when playing musical staterooms with underage kids) ..... not to mention they will receive Casino Drink cards that add value to their free cruise. and I thought people sharing drinks with the PBP was bad.....

skeeter195 Posted October 30, 2019 Author #9 Share Posted October 30, 2019 I just called and got the 2nd room with no issues. Sometimes I just shake my head with the answers I get from the simplest questions at times from CAS. Thanks again
