Your daily gratuity charge includes all wait staff. No extra restaurant tip is required or expected.

 

At the end of your cruise, if any F&B or housekeeping crew have gone significantly  "above and beyond" for you, specific positive remarks in the cruise evaluation (with/without an added gratuity) would be welcomed.

Thank heavens. At the prices Oceania charges and the recent threads stressing slow service, I would hope I didn't have to tip in the specialty or any other restaurant. After all, Oceania, claim they are not special restaurants, just specialising in certain food.

Every cruise line (as is the case with any/every business in general) has disgruntled customers. That said, I trust you'll find the percentage on Oceania to be quite low.

 

And, what is a leisurely "course by course" dining experience in an intimate setting may last considerably longer than some folks are used to or prefer. In that case, they can always dine at their own pace in the Terrace Café.

We never did. It's part of your daily auto tip. Only if drinks were purchased did you sign anything.
