Onboard Credit cashing out

On NCL we had a large onboard credit that we were able to take out at the casino (for a service charge).   That's what we did as we didn't use the full OBC.

 

So, is it possible on MSC to cash out OBC from the casino?   We have $200 OBC from MSC for booking online as well as some from our TA.

At a machine you can choose to get funds from your “on board account” and you can choose “cash out” your earnings. A ticket will print out that you take to teller for cash. I am suggesting there is no service charge, I do not see any way that would show up.

My OBC was split up between my name and my sons name.  Would I be able to cash out "all" against the room with just my card, since I will be the only one registered as paying on the room?

I would think so. Ours was split between the two of us but seemed to be able to be used by either/or.

If you play table games, you can very easily have the dealer charge chips to your room account, place a bet or two, and then go to the cashier's cage and cash them in.  We had $600+ in OBC last cruise on the Seaside and had no problem getting chips at the tables to use our OBC (+ this was a winning cruise, so made it even mo' better!).
