Rare spinnaker2 Posted November 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Looking for Dry bag suggestion and recommendations. Need for upcoming cruise to Caribbean. Bag needs to float and not permit water intrusion. Thanks in advance!

Rare KYBOB Posted November 20, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2019 I use Ultra Dry Premium Waterproof Bag 20L it is available from Amazon runs about $18.99. I have used it in the Caribbean for the beach and Alaska rafting down a river and RIB boat in a driving rain with water splashing into the boat. Kept my camera, spare socks dry. It also includes a bag for an iPhone that worked great on a float. This one has a shoulder strap that makes it easy to carry. I have also seen a similar bag at Cabela's. Photo Andy Posted November 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2019 Spinnaker2 Thanks for posting this question. I am in the UK next June to photograph Puffins on the Farne Islands and will travel for a few miles in an open boat with photo gear. Found the following article from Shutterbug magazine online. "Photo Bag Reviews June 3, 2015, The Best Dry Bags to protect your camera gear". Have a nice holiday. Derek.

Kiwi Brenda Posted November 27, 2019 #9 Share Posted November 27, 2019 Thanks donaldsc for the link to the article - very useful as we plan our Alaskan cruise. We'd been wondering about the best way to protect our camera while kayaking, on zodiac's etc. Also scubacruiserx2 love the puffin photos! Wow.
