islandwannabee Posted November 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2019 I have a certificate that expires in May, do I have to book a cruise by then, or have traveled on the cruise by then?
Clarea Posted November 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2019 Book new or apply to existing booking by the expiration date.

Correct. Also, I believe you must use new funds to book a new cruise, the FCC cannot be used for the deposit.

The future cruise certificates are different Edited November 24, 2019 by Ourusualbeach

If the price of your Oasis cruise has not changed, and you booked a refundable deposit reservation, you could cancel and then assign the NC certificate to that cruise. However, you take the chance that someone else grabs your stateroom and you could lose perks from the original booking.
shipgeeks Posted November 24, 2019 #10 Share Posted November 24, 2019 Ours says "Cruise must be taken by 6-30-2020" (one year after issue). Maybe there are different types?
