New Amsterdam Head Tax

Recommended Posts

Do they charge the head tax (8 Euros) to only the people that leave the ship, or everyone on the ship?

What if you get on and off the ship several times?

Do the charge appear on your onboard account, or do you have to hand over 8 Euros when you leave the ship?

It is my understanding the this tax is not charged if your cruise originates or terminates in Amsterdam.

For ports of call in Amsterdam, the ship is responsible for paying the tax to the port - you will be charged by your cruise line. There is only one charge regardless of how many times you get on or off the ship in AMS.
