Received the email yesterday.  16 identical suites, 32 passengers max.  15 day tour priced at $14,199 pp and 11 day tour priced at $12,499 pp.  Looks very interesting.  Hope they are successful.

As stated in the article Uniworld is merely chartering an existing ship. The ship they are using, the Aria Amazon has been doing these sailings since 2011. It had been sailing two years when I was there in 2013.

We did Peru with Avalon earlier this year...  Truly an amazing experience.  My biggest regret was not having enough time on the river --> we only had 4 nights.  Having 7 nights will make this a really memorable trip.

There are several river cruise companies in Europe that do not own their ships, but manage to maintain a top rating for service [Tauck in particular].  If Uniworld can deliver the expected Uniworld standard, does it matter that they don't own this ship?
