Fish42 Posted December 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2019 I recently cruised on Eurodam and forgot my CPAP medical device in my stateroom. HAL found it and gave it to third party clearing house Chargerback. They charged me $100 to ship it but they never gave it to FedEx for actual shipping. Its been several weeks now. All attempts to contact Chargerback have failed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Chargerback to respond. Would HAL get involved? Thanks! Write them a nice email and explain the situation including how you have failed in your attempts to contact Chargerback, and that Chargerback were selected by HAL to ship the device back to you, therefore you would suggest that it is their responsibility to contact Chargerback. Viv0828 Posted December 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2019 i would contsct both hal and chargerback and fed ex if you had a tracking number. then i would ask my credit card company to reverse the charge. once i received the cpap i would cancel the chargeback. i have no patience for crap like that.
