Again, the key piece of information "if they are being shown". There is no guarantee that they will be available.

The last two years we did Christmas cruises and bowl games were shown almost every day of the week, with the exception of Christmas Day. What makes you think this year will be different?

I would think the ESPN games...which is almost all of the minor bowl games...will be on since the ships have ESPN. Now the games that are on nbc, abc, cbs, fox...I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Interesting  note. Last week on Magic I was at the sports bar just before Sunday night football. A patriots fan was aggravated that they wouldn’t put on NBC for SNF. “These are all the channels we have” they said. Nonsense I saw SNF here last year. Then all the sudden this TV that was on ESPN2 went to this NBC on ESPN2. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. It was the the SNF nbc game on with a ESPN2 watermark.

Because it's different, on each ship, each year. There are two dynamics at play.

1. If there's an actual SkyBox Sports Bar. Although on some ships (Dream class, for example) they refer to the casino bar as the "sports bar", it's not the same thing. Those bars, in my experience, are very hit & miss. And, contain very little seating. If there's a SkyBox, you may have to compete for a seat...but the game will likely be on. ESPN has the (International ) rights to almost every bowl game. If there's no SkyBox, you might miss a game you'd like to see.

2. WHICH bowl games. On the non-sports bar ships. I've had far better history seeing the minor games (ie: the games played Christmas week), than the "New Years 6" / College Football playoff games. Those tend to run up against other entertainment options / shows. The times I've seen those games, on non-sports bar ships....they've been shown in alternate venues. Lido big screen, Punchliner club, etc.. When it's time for something else, though....they take the game off. The second year of the CFP, they were showing the Bama-Michigan State Lido big screen (this was on the Dream). Toward the end of the 1st quarter, the game went off & the movie started. It was the only place on board, showing the game. People went a little bananas....but by mid 3rd quarter, they had a TV set up in the punchliner.

The Rotterdam bar on Paradise has 6 TV's.  They had ESPN on with games last week.  I needed Fox so I was SOL on the game I wanted to watch.  It it located right outside of the comedy club.
