We've already booked the first 2 cruises on her out of Galveston. A 4 night and then 7.  Yes the ports are old to us.  We're from Texas and haven't cruised out of Galveston for 2 years because of the same old ports.  However we will now be able to have a ship as a destination.  And we will now be able to take our kids and grands on a big ship in 2022. I'm really looking forward to Allure coming.

The Jewel of the Seas has a Transatlantic  sailing at the end of November from Rome to Galveston. We have been sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on Celebrity but recently booked this one.

I haven't sailed Galveston in a bit and I live in Houston.  The main reason is so few stops.  I don't care as much where the extra stops are but I don't like to be on sea days much.  4 stops minimum is where I'm at.  I have to fly to Puerto Rico to get it.  Maybe they will eventually increase stops on ships leaving from Galveston.

Well, looks like a delay for Terminal 3.   Capitol Project on hold; due diligence period extension to April 9, 2021 requested by RC.

Completely  understandable as a business decision, but I was sure looking forward to my Allure cruise next November.     Now the guessing begins - will Liberty of the Seas fall 2021 schedule be redeployed back to Galveston?  Allure remain in Miami?
