The Confidante Miami Beach

I have two free nights here before my Veendam cruise on Feb. 12. Has anyone stayed there and have any comments good or bad?

How far is it to South Beach? Any info is appreciated.

I can switch the nights to the Hyatt Centric in South Beach. Which is better?

Ah, not really. There are FAR more contributors to TripAdvisor. Particularly if the hotels are not common cruise hotels, like the ones you are asking about.

 

By the way, if you are sailing Veendam, that will be out of Port Everglades. South Beach is a ways away, a quick check on Google Maps will get you an exact distance.

I like the Confidante but like the Hyatt Centric much better.  The location is also better because the Confidante is on a very busy stretch of Mid Beach around 41st or so.

 

The biggest difference is the Confidante is oceanfront and the Hyatt is not.  That would not bother me, I'd still choose the Hyatt.
