kentuckmn Posted December 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2019 I'm will be with a group of 8 on Breakaway in February. I see we can prebook some of the onboard musicals, etc. How is the seating handled since each couple has their own reservation, will we be seated together. Rare All-ready2cruise Posted December 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2019 Seating for shows/comedians is always first come first served. If you want to sit in a group, I'd suggest you make reservations but arrive at the venue/theatre at least 15 mins prior to showtime. Enjoy. Sauer-kraut Posted December 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2019 Its open seating so get to the theater about 30 mins before showtime to get what you want,
smplybcause Posted December 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2019 For a group that big, the sooner you get there the more likely you are to find seating together.

We have watched groups like yours try to send someone in early to hold a block of 8 seats. Many times, it turns out badly as the theater starts to fill and people start shouting the you can’t hold seats and sit down in the held block of seats. So, have your whole group at the theater at least 30 minutes before show time. Remember, there are 4500 passengers on your cruise. And the theater (between the 4 showings) has seats for only 3600. So, like the titanic, there are not enough seats for everyone.

Paul Bogle Posted December 28, 2019 #7 Share Posted December 28, 2019 Saving seats is against the rules. One person trying to save eight seats is almost certain to end in a bad way. On the other hand four people can easily save one seat each next to them. No one is going to try to grab a seat between two people if they are told it is taken.
