Viking Sky Turquoise Caribbean ports help

Hi Everyone, 

We sail in February. We didn't really pick this itinerary. We were due to go to Cuba but were offered this instead. Would anyone happen to know if there are people hanging about the port that could take us to a beach nearby for Belize, Cozumel, Merida ( Mexico)?  Honestly, I don't feel like doing any of the excursions - just want to go to the beach and swim and be a bum 🙂 Please advise.

Since this question is more about the port itself, you should consult the Ports of Call section of these boards. The audience is better and you will have a better chance of getting an answer.

Yes, check the ports of call board.

 

Based on my experience in Belize (Belize City) and Cozumel, beach breaks are not usually done in Belize. Snorkeling is the big draw and any beach time might be on one of the cays during the excursion.

 

Cozumel has several  beach clubs and a National park (Chankanaab).

 

Again, the ports of call board is the way to go.

When I type in Ports of Call - I am just presented with tours operated by Viator and the like? Isn't there a board where people contribute personal, individual trips they have taken on their own and not with a large group? 

 

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place. I type in the city and then am presented with excursions. Is this what you are referring to?
