Lammy Posted January 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2020 I’m taking my 85 yr old mom on a 5 day Brilliance of the Seas Cruise. She has limited mobility (cane, walker & I’ll rent a wheelchair to get her around the ship and on shore). We weren’t able to get an accessible cabin for the dates I can go, so we’re booked in a balcony cabin & waitlisted for an accessible cabin. From photos and the floor plan, it looks like the cabins small shower stalls without a tub. Can anyone confirm? Thanks so much in advance for your help! Clarea Posted January 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2020 No tubs below suite level. Walk in shower with shower curtain.

There will be a step up to get into the bathroom as well as a step up to get into the shower.

flamingos Posted January 11, 2020 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2020 If you find them to be inaccessible because of a lip, you can ask to use the showers in the spa. Inconvenient, but safer.
