We did this same thing on the Vista October 2018 and had no problems. We plan to do this again in April on the Dream.

I had the onion soup on the Valor in November and it was oh so delicious. We went the first night and the waiter brought us a teeny tiny slider to taste. Not sure what it was but it was so incredibly delicious.

Just a warning so you won't do what I did - we were supposed to be cruising on my birthday to Havana but it was canceled, so we "moved" my birthday a week early. I ordered dessert at the steakhouse. My husband got the best cheesecake I've ever tasted and TNE they brought me my birthday dessert too!!! It was way too much food.
