Flight help - Honolulu

Hi!  We are on on Ovation of the Seas this Sept arriving into Honolulu on Sun Sep 27.  The ship says it gets in at 8am.  We had a flight booked at 12pm.  Google maps says 15-20 min drive to the airport.  The airline just changed our flight to leave at 10:35am.  That being said, we could get up early and self disembark.  
 

For those that have flown out from Honolulu after a cruise, do you think we will be ok?

No. Too tight. Plus you need to clear Ag check at HNL before you can check your bags, and HNL is a somewhat spread out airport. You might make it...but it will be a stressful morning.

 

Spend a couple of nights and enjoy Oahu.

I think the standard recommendation is flights no earlier than 5 hours after the ship's arrival.

5 hours would be massive overkill. I would be comfortable with 3+, in this case.

I agree that the connection is too tight. Since it’s a schedule change with the airline, you should be able to change it to a later flight without be charged a fee.

Thx for the help.  Changed it to 12pm.
