Your Pick of Shore Excursion on Santorini

Sailing on Oceania and one of our ports is Santorini.

Please dont worry about my interests - what was your best experience here as a shore excursion?

We had a great time without an excursion. Bus over to Oia, walking around and lunch overlooking the Caldera. Taxi back to Fira, and walk around Fira. Back on board for dinner. Sailing at 9pm during sunset...really beautiful.

Excursion to Akrotiri first thing, then took us to Oia to spend some time, then lunch at a local restaurant on a black sand beach. Finally the excursion ended in Thira with enough time to pop into the museum and see the frescoes from Akrotiri and other artifacts before getting the cable car back to the ship.

 

This was on a ship with included excursions, just fyi. Otherwise Santorini is pretty easy to do on your own.
