Size of on-board pools

My father really likes to swim (laps) and so his major concern about cruising is the size of the pools on the ships. We have only been on the Imagination and our next cruise is going to be on the Victory. Any chance he will be able to do any kind of swimming on the boat or should I tell him to just swim behind it? :p

He will be swimming behind it. Pools on cruise ships are not for swimming.. they are kinda small.

Princess' Grand class ships have a swim against the current pool.

We were on Victory in January...pools are small. No room for laps...

When folks say small... we are talking about 30 feet long by 15 feet wide.

I think he is going to need to swim in the wake. No pool on biard big enough for laps unless they have one of those motion pools that has a current you swim against so that you match the current but don't move.

Hard doing laps around 500 kids in there with you! They are small and fill up fast on hot days. Get there very early you might have it to yourself to do laps in.
