1/25/2020 galveston port delay

received text alert for carnival dream sailing 1/25/20 that USCG has temporarily closed the channel for marine traffic while they conduct salvage operation for submerged vessel, which may impact sailing. Expected update at 9 am CST.......anybody hear anything? I googled but am not finding any info.

Looks to be backing up the terminal right now at 630am CST.

Subscribing to this topic - we’ve received the same message. Not sure when to arrive at parking lot since previous passengers need to leave in order to free up spaces. Will make for a mess of debarkation/embarkation today for sure. According to the marine traffic website, Dream and Vista aren’t expected to dock until 11:00 and 11:15 AM respectively.

Presently Dream is docked in Port at terminal and Vista moving on in .
