Christmas on South Georgia Island

We are booked on the 2020-21 Antarctic Cruise, which is at South Georgia Island on Christmas Day. I understand that there is a small Anglican church on the island which occasionally holds services. Does anyone know if they normally hold a service on Christmas Day?

Yes they do. It's a lovely Anglican church. We have been three times although not at Christmas.

Lovely indeed and what a great thing to do on Christmas Day . . . we are thinking of going back and tempting fate with the weather.

Will you be there on Christmas Eve?   That is the main Christmas Service.  It usually starts at 10 or 11 and lasts past midnight.

Unfortunately the ship arrives at 10am on Christmas Day.
