St Thomas - Which dock?

Hello,

 

We have an upcoming cruise on the Summit which stops in St. Thomas. We are trying to rent a car but both operators near Havensight and Crown Bay have said that we won’t dock there. 

 

Does anyone know where Celebrity docks while in St Thomas?

Celebrity uses Crown Bay, but exceptions can happen. Back a few years ago when HAL was contracted to dock at Crown Bay, one of our visits was redirected to Havensight by the harbour master at the last minute. 

 

Give us the dates and we may be able to dig up further information.

Royal Caribbean signed a contract to dock at Crown Bay.  Expect to dock there.

In 2001 Royal Caribbean and Carnival made an agreement to develop Crown Bay. Not long after that, P&O became part of RC... so if you're on those ships, you will more than likely dock at Crown Bay. Extenuating circumstances might put you on anchor or at Havensight, though.

P&O is under the Carnival umbrella, not RC.

I believe everything under the RC umbrella now docks at Crown Bay. I believe this was due to the bigger ships being unable to dock at Havensight.

Maybe too late for you but the Summit is at Crown Bay today.
