VIFP Club

So I haven't sailed Carnival yet, but I did sign up for the club and have my number. Do I need to sign up DH and DD prior to booking our cruise so they can earn points as well? Or will they automatically be assigned a number upon booking?  Just wondering as there is only one place to add a VIFP number when I do a mock booking.

Everyone who cruises Carnival is automatically assigned a VIFP number.  The numbers should be listed on your booking confirmation once you book.

 

You need only one VIFP number - or even no number at all - to do a mock booking.

if you are a first time cruiser: if do you not register an carnival account and put the vifp number that was created for you on your booking  then one will be automatically assigned to you and use that number for all future cruises

Okay, that is what I figured.  I just didn't want to miss something they might need to earn points.
