We are one Caribbean princess and it has just been announced that our cruise will be returning several days early due to sickness on board. Can't get answers so figure someone out there on land can answer my question. We used EZAir for scheduled trip home. Will we be rebooked by Princess or should we be finding return airfare by ourselves. They have asked us not to go to guest services and will tell us more info tomorrow but will that be too late to get air home?  Do have travel insurance, but can't call to see if that is covered.

If you booked through Princess they should handle any changes.

Princess will handle EZ Air bookings in this case.

If Princess can't get you home the day you disembark, they will pay for your hotel until they can get you home. That's the benefit of buying Cruiseline supported flights.

We were on a cruise that was delayed into port due to weather.   The Princess shipwide announcement said that passengers with EZAir flights would be rebooked by Princess at Princess' expense, and if needed overnight hotel accommodations would also be provided.  For passengers with independent travel reservations the passengers would be responsible for contacting their travel agent and/or airlines themselves to make new arrangements.

Not surprising as weather is an act of God and the ship and guest and crew safety is most important.  Same for airline delays.  Crew and mechanical problems are the responsibility of the Airline, Weather delays are risks assumed by the passenger.
