Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted February 17, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Not sure I'd want ti go to Singapore at the moment. They have 75 confirmed cases of coronavirus now, which is the third highest. It was 72 yesterday, I think, so the numbers are still climbing there. Kiwi Kruzer Posted February 17, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2020 The general public will take a lot of convincing to have confidence in cruising again .

Yep, I watch a you tube blog of expats living there, they filmed the shelves in the supermarkets, everyone is panic buying, apparently buying up toilet paper and noodles, the shelves were empty at Cold Storage. Shutterbug87 Posted February 17, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Can I ask where you saw that price? Just checked the website and few big name cruise websites and couldn’t see that price... not even close!

It depends on the location. I'd have no hesitation at the moment of doing a local cruise, and Europe, US and Caribbean should be OK too. However the Westerdam situation may change things in the next couple of weeks.

jland Posted February 17, 2020 #9 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Sad. I get so many offers from TA’s, newsletters etc but didn’t get that one. Done most of our cruising on Silversea so surprised not to get an offer like that.
