There was an earlier mention of South African Airways.   Be aware that the SA government has placed in the airline in a form of bankruptcy.  Here is a recent new article:

Several years ago we flew SAA on a land vacation, just one segment from JNB to MUC.  Can't recall the aircraft but the interiors were starting to show some age.  Service and food/drink were very good though, especially the South African wines.

Going our layover is 8 hours also. Where are you guys flying from?

We arrive real early into Cape Town. We have a pre cruise and a post cruise with Regent . How about you all.

We are departing on Dec. 7 . our flight leaves at 6: 45p. We have been to Cap TownTown a couple of times before so find no need to stick around.
