Looks like the salmon viewing at Ketchikan Creek ends mid Sept.   The runs can be off by 2 weeks due to weather, water temperature etc.   So depending on timing this yr,  you may see thousands of them jumping at the ladder or you may see thousands of carcasses rotting in the river bed.  Either one is a pretty fascinating, but one definitely smells more !
