Decor

With all the comments on all the aspects of this ship, I see very little mention of the decor. I love everything I have seen about VV so far with a few exceptions, but is it only me turned off a bit by the 60's retro look in most areas?  Maybe I'm one of the few here to remember the 60's. Actually I was just a baby them, but I do remember it. I'm sure Richard thinks its cool but to me, its the biggest turnoff of the ship.

It has a similar asthetic to most contemporary boutique hotels that I've seen and some chains that go for the ultra contemporary look like the W and Aloft

I won't cry foul until I see an avocado colored kitchen appliance or shag rugs... or was that the 70's?

My concern is the furnishing in public spaces.  Will there really be enough room for people to find a place to relax and feel comfortable when there's close to 2,700 people on board?

I've watched the tour videos. It looks to me like there's way more comfortable places to relax than on some of the other ships.

Wow! This is what we are worried about right now? I am happy that my wife and  I can go out on  cruise where we can hold hands (other than an Olivia cruise).
