2xsin12mths Posted February 25, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2020 Taking the whole family on Pride in May. My 2 young grandsons drink a lot of milk. Can my daughter and SIL take 2 12 packs of Horizon boxed milk instead of soda? I know they have milk on the ship but more than once I’ve poured spoiled milk on my morning oatmeal 🤮
Drinal01 Posted February 25, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2020 Probably... Carnival's official policy below: Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages that are packaged in glass or plastic bottles. On embarkation day, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk), packaged in cans or cartons, may be brought on board and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less, per person. They say cartons are allowed so you maybe be ok. Might want to call the cruise line... Other can chime in.

DB2VA Posted February 25, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2020 (edited) I would print off this rule from their website in case they are questioned. Edited February 25, 2020 by DB2VA

Roger88 Posted February 25, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2020 I remember my wife would always take like a separate bag with her full of food just for our kid. Milk, some veggies n stuff. I always wondered if there are any kid care on board where I could get some specific childrens food or smth. Does any one know whether such services can be found on board? I don't know of anything that is specifically catering to kids food. You can always take some plastic baggies and take buffet items back to the room- muffins, fruit, yogurt, veggies from the salad bar and put in your refrigerator. We always travel with a few prepackaged snacks- granola bars, bags of goldfish, etc when we travel with our kids, and we even take a few things when it is just us. It's nice to have a few things with you so you don't have to always go out and find the food.

dmdiver Posted February 25, 2020 #9 Share Posted February 25, 2020 I would think that would be fine. We have taken premier protein shakes & they are in cartons.
Out of Iowa Posted February 26, 2020 #10 Share Posted February 26, 2020 On our January 2020 cruise, we had problems with spoiled milk from cartons available on the Lido deck. It was half the time, which made it all the more frustrating. I told staff each time it happened. Finally, we gave up drinking milk on the Legend.

They could bring 4 12 packs. The kids are allowed to bring their allotment as well.

If I did. I would go get another. Check the dates on the carton.
