As there are many places on Roatan to grab lunch, it depends on where you are.

At Coxen Hole port, Captain Jacks gets reasonable reviews, but too cruisista for me. In Coxen Hole there are a couple of spots along the waterfront just a block or two outside the main gate.  In many respects just divvy type places but good seafood.

At Mahogany Bay port, you're stuck with the two offerings at the port.  These are both so-so cruisista type places-connected and I believe the same kitchen. Get out of the port and take a taxi somewhere.

In West Bay, the ideal spot, IMO is La Palapa at the Infinity Bay Resort.  Great food, great views.  For local cusine, try Celeste's across from the Bananaram Dive Resort.

There are a ton of good spots further up in West End.  Gingers and Sundowners in HalfMoon Bay; the little café above West End Divers; Tita'sPink Seahorse at Del Mar Diving; and CLevel Café at Georphi's resort for some of the best pizza.

Up in Sandy Bay, there's the Salty Mango.

If heading to Daniel's Monkey's and Sloths or AJ's Sloths: Temporary Cal's at First Bight (open only Wed-Fri), Kristi's Overlook and the Pineapple Café are places to look into.

Sorry, newbie here, don't know which port...not sure how to find that out

If you are on any Carnival related, you will be at Mahogany (weather permitting) - other cruise lines, Coxen Hole.

Still need to know if you have transport booked or if you require within walking distance?

Crew offers good suggestions and usually I agree with him. We don’t like touristy but did enjoy a couple of hours just walking from Coxen Hole and going to Captain Jack’s. If you dock at Coxen Hole not a lot of choice if you don’t have transport.
