No show

Recommended Posts

I am cruising with my daughter in 2 weeks in a balcony and she is getting cold feet due to Coronavirus.

if I cruise solo should I just report her as a no show ? And will I get 2 points?
or do I need to advise Royal that I’m cruising solo and will this affect the price of my cruise?

Yes you will get 2 points per night and she will get her port fees and taxes back.  I just did this and just told them at the port that my husband was not coming.  We had Royal's insurance and I put in a claim.  Don't know the outcome yet as this was just two weeks ago.  I already got credited for his port fees and I got the extra points

I just had this scenario happen to me just over a week ago.
I didn't get 2 points nor have any port fees been credited back.
Did you have to do anything beyond letting them know when you checked in?

I got the port charges back in a week and also the double points.  They both happened automatically  I sailed 2/21  Give it a few more days
