Avril Yes but won't affect us as the main difference is you can't socialise with anyone outside your bubble. Pubs close at 10pm and table service only. We have had several texts from health services warning this might happen.

Gather from her they've imposed the same restrictions on the whole of Northumberland, which seems to have few cases. My niece is a keyworker in Newcastle and said even at lunchtime the pubs were packed with no social distancing. We took her for a meal last night in our favourite restaurant in Newcastle and it was a very safe covid19 environment. All recorded so we can watch when convenient. We have had a Netflix subscription though (a welcome Christmas gift) and wouldn't have imagined how much we value it or how many really good series we've enjoyed. Of course because of the restrictions this year, we've watched far more than usual. We got Netflix last November and it has been invaluable. I list all the things that we’d like to watch. I don’t think we’ll ever get to the end of the list, but there’s always something to watch We also record from the TV on the TiVo box.
FamilyCruiserUK Posted September 17, 2020 #5332 Share Posted September 17, 2020 It's still the mentality of thinking that the population will abide by the rules......it dosnt always work and will continue to cause issues sadly. Granted the vast majority of us will do what is correct but many wont

It worries me that some of the well known names on here have simply vanished. There are people I have spoken tor many years. Some may simply not choose to contribute while there are no cruises. Others just fade away. To anyone who is reading and not posting, please let us know you are still well 😀 I echo your sentiments and also hope some missing regulars post and let us know they are well.

We only watch 2 or 3 hours a night, andwithout Netflix we'd be reduced to just shouting at the couples on "Place in the Sun" with their small budgets and stupid aspirations. You forgot to mention the (just as annoying) "cheeky offers" due to the often spurious reason "the property needs some work on it." 1

Cruise to Caravan! Talking of caravans, we’re off to North Wales again tomorrow for our 3rd caravan stay of the year (a perfect swap for the 3 cruises we should have taken 😃) so that I can visit my parents (have to take into consideration the different rules in place there) and make sure mum is ok after her scheduled eye operation tomorrow. We're off to our caravan in North Wales tomorrow too - it is just heavenly there. Best decision we have made in a long time. Still can't believe it is ours though yet! Where are you off to?
