If the ships are sailing, I'll be wishing I was on one. Touché. I’m really POd at NCL for the way they handled my Dorian cruise (cancelled it hours before sailing, after I had changed flights 3X and hotels 2X). No refund for 90 days on my March cruise that was cancelled. Now, 125% FCC and 20% discount on fares. Really, really cheap fares has me looking how cheap I can cruise again. But, as you say, if they’re cruising, I’ll be wishing I was on the ship.

Rather than cruising this year (cancelled 2 planned ones plus an oversea escorted land-trip) - we reset our clocks, booked 2 Fall trips over land - no payment upfront, cancelled the suites that we booked up to 48 hours before arrival with zero penalty) Cruising - well, now that NY is slowly easing, we will be doing that, hopefully by July. Yeah, it will be coastal water, off the marina nearby out in Long Island, NY - on niece's family boat - 30 footer, do a little fishing (probably won't catch another lobster) and relaxation if things continue to improve & get better. That is our plan but still a long way to go.

May look at cruises again this Fall, but no guarantees there, either. Will probably do long weekend driving trips this summer after things ease a bit. Truth of the matter, I can get a flight anywhere in the U.S. for cheap right now....even booking 3 months out. Not sure where I’ll go, though. Will look again come mid-end of May to see where things stack up. Stay safe!
