We booked an April 5th CAS comped cruise that NCL cancelled.

On April 3rd my DH received the FCC email for the full total listed under his 'Guest Two' on our confirmation.

I haven't received anything from them.  Mine should include return of two Cruise Next deposits for a total of $500.  My 'Guest One' half of our combined cost is less than $500.     As the two Cruise Next deposits were under my name, I am guessing the computer can't figure out as my half would be less than that $500 deposit.

We did NOT book through the casino department and we have received our FCC in the correct 125% amount. The 125% covered everything we had paid up to that point, including Air/Air Taxes, Prepaid Service Charges, Beverage Package Service Charges, Dining Package Service Charges, and the Shore Excursions we had paid them for. It DID take 19 days for us to get confirmation of it, but we were able to use it to book a mini suite on a future cruise of the same duration and destination for the same price (with the extra 20% discount if we booked a cruise by April 10th) as our cancelled cruise's balcony. The WAITING for the FCC confirmation was a little stressful in that we didn't want to upgrade until we knew EXACTLY what we were getting in the FCC, and Norwegian kept running "Free At Sea" specials that they said were expiring, but then after they had expired, they extended them. Twice!!

scarecrow... I've cruised with NCL since 2012 and have a pretty good understanding of the Free at Sea promos.  The promos will continue as long as NCL continues to offer cruises.. it's really their thing which other cruise lines attempt to compete with, as such.

My experience, in general, having booked myself, but directly through NCL website, is the same as your experience.  Received the FCC, checked the amount which matched exactly, and was able to apply the FCC to 2 already booked cruises in 2021. Those cruises needed to be rebooked but, what that meant was that I rec'd all of the FAS offers, even in an inside cabin.  I'm happy with the results but still hoping they find a vaccine or other resolution to the Covid19 prior to my cruises (B2B total 26 days) in April 2021.

My March 15 cruise on the Bliss out of NYC was cancelled by the cruise line. We were in NY ready to go and did not cancel ourselves, yet instead of the 150% FCC we were supposed to get we only got 100%. The credit showed up on my account on the app, under my cruise next vouchers. My cruise next vouchers were also credited back. Guess I will have to call to find out why I didn’t get 150%. I booked through casinos at sea.

I realize that. I just don't know why they post that "this promo will expire in X days" if they aren't really going to end. They DID change one thing in the promo between the time we booked our last cruise and the time we booked our new one. Their offer of a $100 down payment per booking on the first cruise changed to a 2-for-1 down payment (which ended up being $250 dollars).

It's just a ploy. It really seems to resonate with the NEW CRUISERS and what cruise line doesn't want new cruisers.  Just marketing.

We booked through CAS for our April 18th cruise.  We immediately received our two Cruise Next certs, although one is $200 rather than $250.  Still waiting for FCC.  Unless their public relations person is busy calculating my FCC, it would be nice if NCL would occasionally blast out a generic email letting people know updated time-frames.

Funny - we were booked on the same April 18 cruise as you.  We got our FCC's as they promised on April 3, but are still waiting for the 2 Cruise Next deposits to be credited back.  (The FCC was correct except it did not include the insurance.  Giving NCL a week or so to see if they fix things before having our TA call them.)

We were also booked (using our PCC) on the April 18 TA  We have received both our FCC with the extra 25% and the 2 Cruise Next certificates (several days later). Everything was calculated correctly.

We are having an FCC nightmare.  We originally booked with a girlfriend, three of us sharing a large cabin and celebrating my daughter's college grad (no graduation now but I digress).  My daughter and I took the FCC because NCL insisted our cruise would never be canceled (it was a May 16 sailing, they'll probably cancel any day) and we DID get a much better deal, including all the FAS offers despite an inside cabin, AND free airfare, which is now off the table.  So far so good.  However once NCL processed the FCC they gave me ALL of the FCC, and none (well, $400) to my girlfriend, because they gave the FCC "as the cabin costs were," NOT as the PAYMENTS had been made.  We have gone way up the chain and as it stands NCL are refusing to move any of "my" FCC to my girlfriend.  As it stands now I will be stuck with $2900 FCC and have to pay my girlfriend that money.  YES I will cruise again but I would never have loaned NCL $3k and this is not the time to be spending savings to make my girlfriend whole.  Any advice for me?

I cancelled my 4/18 Transatlantic on March 10, so I'm due a 100% FCC.  I had also used two CNs certs and had a $475 casino credit that was used toward the cost of the cruise.  I cancelled the excursions and the "extras" the day before so i should be getting a cash refund for those.

So far, the CNs were re-credited almost immediately.  I've yet to see any FCC posted to my account and haven't seen any credits to the credit card.  NCL says it's all still "pending" but aren't able to even give me any numbers.  It's frustrating.

So our 3/22 cruise was cancelled by NCL.  I have the cruise rewards logged into my NCL account appropriately for the amount we paid + 25% (which was the deal).  However, I have requested a refund online and obviously am still within the 90 days.  Will this FCC go away once they issue the refund?  I'm guessing they just dumped FCC into everyone's account and will filter out the refunds later.  It's mindboggling how many email blasts I'm getting to use my FCC.  Anyone?

A CN redeposited for just 200 of the 250?  Very strange!

Yes, I think you are right.  They should be able to send some sort of generic email to let us know they are working on things.   I don't want to call and question the CAS agents as I don't think they have any control over this part.

Meanwhile, my DH's account has too much FCC listed and my account is ignored.  Using our two CN deposits, we were just waiting for a little over $200 of FCC.  They listed $330 for him plus another 80 something for the 25% bonus.

For the insurance, NCL said by 04/10/20. However, the credit was posted today under my account.

That's strange. NCL split FCCs among all passengers listed on the reservation. If you needed to transfer some FCCs to your girlfriend that was also listed on the reservation, you should call NCL directly again or to your TA if you did not booked directly with NCL.

The issue is that they split the FCC by "Cost" not by payments.  Because my daughter and I were listed as the first two passengers, my girlfriend's "costs" were very low.  We had PAID in thirds, roughly, so she paid $2900 but received just $400+, for port taxes.  They are ADAMANT that they will NOT change or move the FCC in any way except for "entirely."  They have been really awful.

Still haven't received my FCC. My April sailing was cancelled on March 30th, and their website promised that the credits would be posted by April 1st, but I keep checking My NCL every day and nothing. I've messaged NCL on various social media platforms and am always told to call customer service. When I call customer service they tell me to keep waiting, and it's the same response when I escalate to a supervisor. Very frustrating that this is all handled by another department and that they're so powerless to resolve my issue. Glad to see that most here have received their credits though. If I don't see mine by April 13th I'll be filing for a cash refund.

Ha! I could have typed this verbatim except substitute March 15 for the date and substitute son for DH!

Interesting!   I think our CAS comped deals have really messed with their computer generated cancellations.   Sorry you have to wait too....but kind of nice to hear we aren't the only ones😉

We got ours as promised, and they were for more that we were expecting![emoji846]

With the 125% FCC and the 20% additional discount, we were able to get a significant upgrade, $1,000 in OBC we didn’t have before, and we STILL have money left on a FCC.

That's what we're going to do; wait a week and then give them a call if we don't have our FCC and other refund issues resolved.

Our PCC is not responding to our emails.  Maybe furloughed?

I got an email saying my account was credited from NCL but I had booked through a travel agent.  Do I need to book through the travel agent to access the credit or should I see it somewhere under my account?

You would be able to see all credit and coupons on your NCL account. When you login, click on your account. It is all listed under: "My Coupons and Credits"
